I have just heard back from Roger Bland, there will be no PAS reaction to what Sir Bob Russell said in the House of Commons about plundering the archaeological record for collectables. It would seem that he's quite happy to leave the matter as it is. Fat lot of good that kind of passive "do/say what you want" outreach is, then. Dr Bland did however want to make it clear that the staff of his outreach scheme does not have an opinion on Contaminated Green Waste being spread all over the historic environment. I guess they're happy to leave that matter as it is too. Somehow Dr Bland managed not to see the part of my post which talks about the MP being totally unaware that his organization even exists.
